The thing that really stood out to me about this film is the way that it was made, it's very unusual in the way that it changes the asthectics. It's the way that it could change into a cartoon form or asif he is in a virtual shoot 'em up game which makes me feel like I am really entering this characters mindframe and what he is really thinking.
I love movies about making movies so that made me like it even more, it was also a really funny film in the way that it uses all these refrences to other films but in a creative and fun way.
It had me laughing for the whole beggining but then before you know it it's taken a turn and your pulled into this emotional story about people's lives and i think it teaches you to never trust stereotypes, the main female character seems like the typical popular high school student who has the world on a plate but in reality she is just as if not more messed up then the main character.
I really don't have anything bad about to say about this movie because even at the very end you think everythings going to be fine and the two main characters are going to get together like a typical film it turns out it's still a happy ending, just not the one the audience expects.
